Luther Reigns, whose real name is Matt Wiese, is a retired professional wrestler who was born on September 22, 1971, in Katzweiler, West Germany. He is best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he competed from 2003 to 2005.

Reigns originally trained as a football player and played college football at Louisiana State University before pursuing a career in professional wrestling. He made his wrestling debut in 1997 and wrestled for various independent promotions before signing with WWE in 2003.

During his time in WWE, Reigns was primarily used as a mid-card wrestler and had feuds with notable superstars such as Chris Benoit, The Undertaker, and Booker T. He was a member of the SmackDown brand and also briefly competed on the RAW brand.
